Flexigum

Flexigum is an emulsion of bitumen and latex, where the bitumen is the sealant. It is carried by the latex, which gives the bitumen its high elasticity, through simultaneous spraying.

The Flexigum method employs a revolutionary, non-toxic cold spray. The use of it, results in the elimination of air population, risk of fire and any damages or problems arising from typical hot asphalt applications.

The spraying action is accomplished using a simple procedure. Emulsion and coagulating agent are sprayed simultaneously through two nozzles in the spray-gun. Coagulation is instant. The water seperates, forming a flexible homogeneous film. The instant bonding and coagulation (on wet as well as on dirty surfaces) makes Flexigum ideal for use on basement walls. Spraying may be performed with no disturbance whatsoever to occupants of the building.
