Geotextiles

There are two categories of Geotextiles:
a) Woven b) Non-Woven

Due to their excellent elongation properties, Fibertex Geotextiles resist considerable local stresses inflicted by the construction. Fibertex Geotextiles protect fragile materials against damage and reinforce the construction to prevent stress cracks from occuring.

Even though Fibertex Geotextiles are completely diffusion-open, the pores are kept small enough to ensure that Fibertex Geotextiles always form an effective barrier between the different layers of material, i.e. soil, sand and gravel.

The pore structure in Fibertex Geotextiles, allows water to pass unobstructed while particles, such as silt and sand are retained. The special structure of Fibertex Geotextiles prevents clogging of the filter.

The structure of the needle-punched Fibertex Geotextiles, ensures that water is transported inside the geotextile in order to drain all water from the construction.
